.....and, again, it will be with the medical group I've worked with before. We'll be going to the northern city of Piura--very near the border with Ecuador. I've been to this location two other times and we will be going east every day about an hour by bus to a small village called Loma Negra. I've been to this particular village once before and we'll be setting up a medical clinic in the local school with very little access to electricity or clean water.
In Piura, we will be staying at a hotel called Posada Blanca. It's a very small hotel--almost like a hostel--and our group has the whole hotel reserved for the week. It does advertise free wireless Internet. No side trip to Cusco or Machu Pichu this time.
