….. but had trouble finding my hotel. Instead of the Grand Westin, it was the Grand Hotel West and is located about twenty minutes inland. It’s actually a casino that’s built around an old colonial hotel. The hotel itself is really nice but is really isolated—it’s about a $40 round-trip taxi trip into Cape Town but I think I’ll go ahead and do it tomorrow. There’s literally everything here under one glass roof—three huge casinos, about twenty restaurants, movie theater, bowling alley. Trouble is I don’t gamble and am not into all that but like I said the room is really nice. I have a beautiful view of the mountains from my room and the view flying in was spectacular. I suspect after I’ve done my first training session Monday some of the Chevron people can suggest things to do and see and h
