Got a Five Week Job Coming Up in Thailand, Hong Kong and Fiji......(Yes, Fiji).....

.....going back to one of my favorite places in June—Thailand.  I'm flying out of Houston on June 1 and will be working there with Exxon in Bangkok and staying at the Queen’s Park Hotel in the city center.  I’ve stayed there before and it’s a really nice hotel in an excellent location.  I’ll be working 6-day weeks so I probably won’t be able to take any excursions but it’ll be great just to return, hit the tourist sites, and eat real Thai food.

            On June 17, I will fly to Hong Kong for a week and doing a 3-day program, so I’ll have a little time to explore.  I spent a weekend in Hong Kong earlier as a tourist but will have a little more time to really see the place this time.  The hotel I’m staying at in Hong Kong is insane—check out their website:  http://www.lhotelhk.com/eng/

            On June 23, I will fly from Hong Kong to Suva, Fiji—yes, Fiji—for twelve days with three or four days layover to see the island.  I’ll be staying at the Holiday Inn there which, from their website, seems nice and appears to be located on or near the beach.

            I’ll be coming home on July 5 which makes this about five weeks including travel time—the longest overseas job I’ve done but I can’t think of any better part of the world to do it in.
